Corners Pet & Grooming has been serving the community for nearly 40 years and is a family owned and operated business. At Corners Pet your pet’s wellbeing is our primary concern. Our well trained and experienced staff can help with most any question or concern you may have about your pet. Our goal is to find happy loving homes for our pets and to offer the best care for the ones you already have at home.

Heidi

I became the owner of Corners Pet in March of 2000. I had always worked with animals and owning a pet store has been a life long dream of mine. Before Corners Pet I had worked in other pet stores, humane societies, vet clinics and worked Waukesha County Humane Officer. My devotion to animals has been a life long passion.

I have had numerous pets over the years. Dogs, cats, fish, hamsters and a quaker parrot to name a few. What I like most about working with animals is the unconditional love they give. There is nothing better then coming home to an excited greeting from a pet. My many years of experience has given me a wide variety of animal knowledge. However, I feel that training is my area of expertise.

My two daughters and I love to go camping with family and friends. I am also an advid volleyball player.

Jessica

I stated at Corners Pet in December of 2010. Prior to Corners I was a veterinary assistant for 5 years, so I have a lot of experience working with animals. I enjoy working at Corners because it never gets boring and I enjoy helping customers make sure there pet is happy. At home I have lots of pets. I currently have a Doberman Pincher, 2 Chihuahuas, 5 large parrots, 6 parakeets and assorted fish. I spend the majority of my time with them because they can make me feel better no matter what. I have recently gotten married and couldn’t be happier. We have recently bought a house and enjoy fixing it up to be our own. In my spare time I enjoy watching a good movie,walking my dogs, or spending time with family.

Becky

I started at Corners Pet in the fall of 2007 but had been working at Animal Crackers/Animal Adventures since 1987. I am a mother of two and have owned and raised rough coated collies for the past 10 years. I have raised guinea pigs for the past 20 years. I have owned and raised many varieties of exotic birds over the years; from finches and macaws to toucans. I have owned several species of reptiles over the years and raised fish as well.

I currently have 4 collies, 2 cats, 2 aquariums, many guinea pigs, an African grey, a yellow crown amazon, caiques, lorys, small conures, love birds and finches. My years of experience have given me a unique perspective and the ability to solve most problems. I have special expertise in dog allergies and behavioral problems in most animals.

I have been an animal lover my entire life and have always been around them. Working with animals is never boring. When you think you know everything, they do something new to keep you on your toes!

Jennifer aka Jen

I started at Corners Pet in January of 2005. I have been a pet groomer for 9 years and before that had worked in pet stores for 2 years. I enjoy grooming because it is rewarding to take a shaggy dog and turn it into something beautiful.

I currently own a Rottweiler named Bear and a cat. In the past I have owned snakes, skinks, rabbits, fish, frogs, guinea pigs and parakeets. I also enjoy spending time with family, bowling, movies and traveling

Karen

I started at Corners Pet in May of 2003. This has been my only job in a pet store but I have been around animals my whole life. I have always loved animals. As a child my parents could always find me playing with our family pets. Growing up I always said I was either going to be a veterinarian or an artist. Art became a hobby and I quickly realized I’m very squeamish around blood. Grooming and working in a pet store became the perfect alternative.

I am also know as the “bleeding heart” of Corners Pet since most of my pets came to me by way of people giving them up who could no longer care for them or the pets at the store grow on me and I take them home. I currently own 2 dogs from Corners Pet, Pinkerton and Luna. I also have a dove, several lizards, a hamster, fish and a fiddler crab.

I love to draw and paint whenever I have the free time to do so. I also love to go camping and fishing with my family, Pinkerton and Luna also love to camp.

Arin

I started at Corners Pet in August of 2008. Despite this being my first job working with animals I have been around them my whole life. What I like most about working with animals is that they love unconditionally. Giving that same love in return and seeing them go home to loving families is very rewarding.

I currently have a pug named Tito from Corners Pet. I also have three cats, a banana king snake, a leopard gecko and a betta fish. My three kids and I love to watch movies, go for walks, play board games and hang out together.
